I have attached the relevant piece of the log [1]. I'd like to note that s390x is big-endian. Maybe the check for the version fails somehow? I assume that pktanon simply isn't portable enough to work on architectures not intended by upstream. I have opened an issue in upstream's GitHub [0] -- but as a previous one [1] regarding ARM issues remained unanswered I assume that portability to some exotic platforms is probably not a high priority. TBH I could live with that as well. Since pktanon does not seem to work reliably on that platform, I am going to remove s390x from the list of supported platforms to allow it to migrate to testing.
