If that's not possible, maybe you can trim the log with a binary search to try to narrow down the problem lines as much as possible. In the attached file you can find the last lines of output of `strace sarg -l /var/log/squid/access.log`. After editing /etc/squid/sarg.conf and commenting out squidguard_log_path, the program doesn't hang and complete its job (asking more command line option as -o).
