Bug#400057: I can't reproduce bug 400057

2006-12-04 Thread Andreas Barth
* Margarita Manterola ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) [061202 12:57]:
I tried building libbonobomm1.3 both inside and outside a pbuilder
environment, and it worked just fine.

It didn't work for me on amd64 in unstable pbuilder either.

Cheers,
Andi

Bug#400057: I can't reproduce bug 400057

2006-12-04 Thread Margarita Manterola
Hola Steve Langasek!

I built it again, but it still fails for me (same error message). Were
you building inside unstable or etch ?
  Unstable.
Then it's something that's fixed in unstable but not in etch.

The relevant packages are liborbit2-dev and liborbit2cpp-dev AFAICS, and
both of these are at the same versions in testing and unstable. It looks to
me like the recent NMU of orbit2 broke orbit2cpp; no idea why it would be
working in unstable but not in testing...

After trying a dozen things I came to the conclusion that that my unstable
environment was broken (even the pbuilder, this is the weirdest thing).

Having everything completely up-to-date, I downgraded liborbit2-dev and
got libbonobomm1.3 to build fine. So, I guess that the problem is, as
Steve says, in orbit2's latest upload.

Hi!

I tried building libbonobomm1.3 both inside and outside a pbuilder
environment, and it worked just fine.

It might be that this was a bug in one of the dependencies, that has been
fixed since then. Could you please re-try building libbonobomm1.3 in your
environment and see if it goes alright?
