I submitted the following patch to them earlier today: http://www.phildev.net/linux/patches/libnetfilter_conntrack-0.0.50_icmp_id.patch They store ICMP ID as a u16, but they access it as a u8 thus loosing data. I suspect it'll be a while before the next version is released, so you may want to roll this into the debian version.
