Bug#436761: tramp fails with wholenump error on xemacs21

2007-08-09 Thread Michael Albinus
Brett Carter [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:

 Package: tramp
 Version: 1:2.0.55-1
 Severity: grave
 Justification: renders package unusable

Using the xemacs21 package in unstable:
ii xemacs21 21.4.20-2 highly customizable text editor

Tramp fails to open a remote file via scp erroring out with:
Symbol's function definition is void: wholenump
 When loading a path like:
 /[scp/example.com]/foo/bar/baz.txt

Both Tramp versions 2.0.56 and 2.1.10 fix this problem. Debian shall
uprade to one of these versions. Note that 2.1.10 is regarded as stable
now.

Best regards, Michael.
