While trying to rebuild your package with pbuilder, to fix the incorrect 
encoding of
debian/changelog, I went on the following:

(if you fix this, please also fix the debian/changelog encoding
issues...even if you NMU the package)

Agreed. I'll try rebuilding slashem when flex NMU will have reached
unstable.

If the problem is fixed, I'll close the BR.
