There is no requirement that experimental packages play nicely with each
other. There is not even a requirement that experimental packages play
nicely at all. Sorry.

Maintainer keeps closing this bug because he claims it is for the
unstable X server but did also deliberately put the package in
experimental instead of unstable.

When I reply that I have X server form experimental installed, he
objects that I do not know of to use apt!

I do explicitly want the 1.5.2 X server that is available in
experimental and I also would like that the experimental package play
nicely with other experimental packages (especially currently when kde4
require experimental!)

Sound too complicated to understand.

And BTW: I do run it already using today's git and have been for quite a
long time but as it is fairly stable it should be made more broadly
available:
- either by putting it in unstable once the new stable is out
- or by making experimental consistent
