Bug#569358: must be another problem
tags 569358 - unreproducible moreinfo severity 569359 serious merge 569359 569358 thanks * martin f krafft madd...@debian.org [2010-05-26 09:49]: The initramfs hook does check for an empty level and fetches it directly from the device, if the config file does not have it: http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-mdadm/mdadm.git;a=blob;f=debian/initramfs/hook;h=d4a623712b01e89978df5dcdabc3d68ff244944a;hb=932c11ccd4363a5db7a68ef0275489f8bf5f7eef#l199 There must be another reason for this problem. Could you please provide trace output? As mentioned in #569359, /sbin/mdadm --detail --scan /dev/md/0 fails because /dev/md/0 does not exist. Therefore, the hook fails to determine the RAID level. -- Martin Michlmayr http://www.cyrius.com/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
