That looks weird indeed, I don't have the ConsoleKit errors. What's
surprising is that it succeeds at one point, but still considers an
error. And everything on the same second, also.

Could it be that ConsoleKit is already running *before* lightDM is
launched and that the dbus activation somehow fails?

Hmhm, it might mess with the Debian way of doing thing (especially
running stuff from /etc/X11/Xsession.d, like consolekit stuff etc.).

Can you try without it at all?

In case that fixes the issue, can you try adding the xrandr stuff in
~/.xsessionrc instead?

Removing the custom user xinitrc does not fix the problem (greeter hang 
and disabled power button).


I also noticed that daemon.log contains following lines that coincide 
with the end of the greeter hang:
