Bug#733402: psychtoolbox-3: FTBFS: OGLFT.cpp:38:31: fatal error: freetype/ftbitmap.h: No such file or directory

2013-12-30 Thread Mario Kleiner

Hi,

thanks for reporting, just in time for the new release :). The bug
should be fixed in the latest release from today and will probably
trickle into Debian within a couple of days, courtesy of the NeuroDebian
team.

Wish you a good new year,
-mario

Hi,

During a rebuild of all packages in sid, your package failed to build on
amd64.

On the new 2.5 version the headers are located at
'/usr/include/freetype2/ftglyph.h' instead of
'/usr/include/freetype2/freetype/ftglyph.h' like in previous versions.

Relevant part (hopefully):

g++ -Wall -g -O0 -I. -I/usr/include/ -I/usr/include/freetype2/ \
-L/usr/lib -pie -shared -fPIC \
-Wl,-Bsymbolic -Wl,-Bsymbolic-functions \
-Wl,--version-script=linuxexportlist.txt \
-o libptbdrawtext_ftgl.so.1 \
libptbdrawtext_ftgl.cpp qstringqcharemulation.cpp OGLFT.cpp \
-lGL -lGLU -lfontconfig -lfreetype
OGLFT.cpp:38:31: fatal error: freetype/ftbitmap.h: No such file or directory
  #include freetype/ftbitmap.h
^
compilation terminated.
make[1]: *** [build-stamp] Error 1

The full build log is available from:

http://aws-logs.debian.net/ftbfs-logs/2013/12/26/psychtoolbox-3_3.0.11.20131017.dfsg1-3_unstable.log

A list of current common problems and possible solutions is available at
http://wiki.debian.org/qa.debian.org/FTBFS . You're welcome to contribute!

About the archive rebuild: The rebuild was done on EC2 VM instances from
Amazon Web Services, using a clean, minimal and up-to-date chroot. Every
failed build was retried once to eliminate random failures.
