This would likely be related to SNA being made default. You can work
around this with the following xorg.conf snippet:

Section "Device"
Identifier  "Intel Graphics"
Driver  "intel"
Option  "AccelMethod"  "uxa"
EndSection

Please file a bug report upstream [1].
