Bug#752482: libzeitgeist-2.0-0: Segmentation fault in empathy and gnome-contacts
Hi Laurent, On Tue, Jun 24, 2014 at 12:22:53AM +0200, Laurent Bigonville wrote: Package: libzeitgeist-2.0-0 Version: 0.9.14-2.1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable Hi, Upgrading to 0.9.14-2.1 is causing empathy and gnome-contacts (maybe other applications too) to segfault with the following message in the console: Ugh, sorry about this. I tested with gnome-contacts during the update process but the problem here doesn't seem to happen every time, or I didn't kill the tp helpers maybe. I thought this would be fixed by 201bd67de450320520a12e2b0c465c8eb6818bd2 from upstream, but that's not enough. 0.9.15 does actually fix it for me though, but I'd like some confirmation. Could you check it out? Source package and debs if you want to use them are at http://people.debian.org/~laney/zeitgeist/ Siegfried has given permission to NMU this release, so feel free to do it using my packages or let me know and I will. I'm going to NMU with both of these commits now instead of the new upstream.
