Bug#756485: [Pkg-acpi-devel] Bug#756485: acpid: Unable to upgrade/downgrade
severity 756485 normal thanks On Mon, Aug 04, 2014 at 12:57:20PM +0200, Michael Meskes wrote: Please, pretty please, give us at least some output to see what may be happening on your system. This bug report lacks important information and thus does not warrant its release critical status IMO. Therefore I cast it down to normal. Please send the missing information. Bug#756485: [Pkg-acpi-devel] Bug#756485: acpid: Unable to upgrade/downgrade
Upgrade to this version resulted in the inability to stop package Please, pretty please, give us at least some output to see what may be happening on your system. My cystal ball is currently not working. :) 1. AFter first upgrade (previous version to this one) moved /etc/sysctl.d directory, so upgrade would continue. From this version to next (or previous) failes completely as acpid won't stop. (or at least stop script exits with error) I have no idea what /etc/sysctl.d has to do with acpid, sorry. Please run stop script with set -x and send the output.
