* Jakub Wilk , 2014-08-01, 10:28:

$ lintian4py lintian4python_0.28.1_all.deb
internal error: There are missing nodes on the resolver: coll-index at
/usr/bin/lintian line 1140.

Apparently it means: there's no collection named “index”.

From the Lintian changelog:

| * checks/*.desc:
| + [NT] Replaced "index" with "unpacked" in Needs-Info.

I suppose we have to do the same in lintian4python.

Bug#756737: lintian4python: uninstallable: Depends: lintian (< 2.5.23~) but 2.5.25 is to be installed

2014-08-01 Thread Jakub Wilk

Package: lintian4python
Version: 0.28.2
Severity: serious
Tags: help

lintian4python is not installable:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
lintian4python : Depends: lintian (< 2.5.23~) but 2.5.25 is to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Unfortunately, just bumping the dependency is not sufficient:

$ lintian4py lintian4python_0.28.1_all.deb
internal error: There are missing nodes on the resolver: coll-index at
/usr/bin/lintian line 1140.

I saw errors like this in the past, and I even used to know how to fix
them, but I forgot. :-(
