This is the case for pktools. It has no reverse dependencies, and I'm
not worried about possible software outside the Debian archive.

When the new libstdc++ is moved to unstable, we only need to update the
 symbols for all architectures.

It's currently not possible to build pktools due to
 libboost-date-time1.55.0 libdap being uninstallable.

I have the symbols updated for amd64 with GCC 5 ready in git, but that
 cant' be uploaded yet.

With the start of the gdal transition (#756867) and the rebuilt liblas
(#777955) it has now become possible to build pktools again. I've
uploaded a new revision to experimental with updated symbols for GCC 5
on amd64.

I'll gather the symbols for the other architectures after the buildds
have built the new revision in experimental. The subsequent upload to
unstable will resolve this issue, but requires liblas to to upload to
unstable first.

Kind Regards,

Bas

As long as the libdap transition (#791114) has not started libstdc++6
breaks the version in unstable:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 libstdc++6 : Breaks: libdap17 (= 3.14.0-2) but 3.14.0-2 is to be
installed.
  Breaks: libdapclient6 (= 3.14.0-2) but 3.14.0-2 is to
be installed.
  Breaks: libdapserver7 (= 3.14.0-2) but 3.14.0-2 is to
be installed.

We need to wait to for the Release Team to give the go-ahead to start
the libdap transition before the fixed version of libdap should arive
in unstable.

Kind Regards,

Bas

 Hello,

So transition to new boost is needed, but otherwise you should be good to

Sorry - my mistake.

So it should also be possible to install libdap now, as I discovered the
bug had not been closed properly in the changelog (now closed manually).

Cheers,
