Package: php-pimple
Version: 1.1.1-1
Severity: serious

[ Filled as an RC-bug by the maintainer to see the package auto-removed
from testing, and not let it block the PHP 7.0 transition. ]

I packaged php-pimle as used by owncloud, but owncloud is going away,
see #816376. There is a priori little point to ship php-pimple in a
stable Debian release.

I intend to follow up with an RM request in a few months if nobody
objects (but feel free to beat me to it).

Regards

David

php-pimple is needed (at least temporarily) for php-slim 3.x, which is used by
shaarli (ITP #864559).
This bug can be re-opened after shaarli moves to php-slim 4.x.

We need php-pimple for php7cc that should be useful to check PHP packages for
incompatibilities with PHP-7.

I did some maintenance on php-pimple so it is not blocking PHP-7 transition
any more.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to 816...@bugs.debian.org,
and the maintainer will reopen the bug report if appropriate.
