Bug#819714:
control: reopen -1 Hi, lets keep it open, sorry for closing in advance! >If this is a bug in vtk6, then I'm reassigning it to vtk6. >Please feel free to forcemerge with the real bug if there is one >already reported. > >The "affects" helps people like me who find FTBFS bugs to avoid filing >duplicate bugs. thanks for that! >I'm keeping the bug closed for now, but in this case I've just checked >that nifti2dicom FTBFS in stretch, which is something should never >happen (packages in testing should be buildable in testing too). > >Can you comment on the status of the transition? I did some NMUs/Uploads to help the transition move forward, and I think reverse-dependencies are mostly in place, but in the meanwhile gdcm got an RC bug (from me), because build-dependencies aren't installable anymore. So, while vtk6 folks prepares the transition, keeping this one open is the best solution. (and closing in advance was a wrong choice, but I was mostly sure the transition was ready at that point). Thanks! Gianfranco

reassign 819714 src:vtk6 affects 819714 src:nifti2dicom thanks Gianfranco Costamagna wrote: > this is a bug in vtk6 and will be fixed on the current starting transition. Hi. If this is a bug in vtk6, then I'm reassigning it to vtk6. Please feel free to forcemerge with the real bug if there is one already reported. The "affects" helps people like me who find FTBFS bugs to avoid filing duplicate bugs. I'm keeping the bug closed for now, but in this case I've just checked that nifti2dicom FTBFS in stretch, which is something should never happen (packages in testing should be buildable in testing too). Can you comment on the status of the transition? Thanks.
