If I You are right. Went back to system status with the non-working mate dock. Installed just 'python3-dbus' and dock was back again in the panel. All I can say for certain is that 'python3-dbus' is the only dependency I was missing. If another dependency is missing from the list but I happen to have it installed by any chance, I could not say.
