I see you have filed #973515; the description of that one reads a bit like
this is the same issue, is it?  (In this case the bugs should be merged
and assigned to the package causing it…)

For sure, this is not a severity-grave bug; I'm reducing the severity
to a more appropiate level.

Dear Maintainer,

When using d-menu in i3, d-menu appears, but as soon as a key is pressed, it 
disappears, making it impossible to launch any applications using that way.
