jigo CD directory contains DVD images
Hello, the new sarge jigo images contains dvd images instead of cd images... http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/cd/jigdo-area/i386/ is the same as: http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/dvd/jigdo-area/i386/ Alfred -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. CD-images
hello, a couple of Debian CD images questions 1. When can we expect new cd-images on http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/cd/jigdo-area/ The current version is 10 days old :) 2. What about 700 Mbyte images (instead of 650 MByte), maybe not full images on the mirror/rsync but just the jigdo files. Re: Debian Sarge/testing cdimages
Hello, about the unofficial CD images from Sarge/testing on ftp://ftp.fsn.hu/pub/CDROM-Images/debian-unofficial/ I wonder why does people still use the ftp.fsn.hu testing images instead of the official ones, I mean, they were of a big help for people upgrading to testing in the past, but now that we have official images... do they still make sense? rsync jigdo is not bad, but you have to be quick after the jigdo release otherwise there is a change that files have been replaced by newer versions, resulting in: Too many files (68 out of 72) are missing - I will not try to retrieve the remaining files from any alternative download locations - Aaargh - 68 files could not be downloaded. This should not happen! Depending on the problem, it may help to retry downloading the missing files. Also, you could try changing to another Debian or Non-US server, in case the one you used is out of sync. and you can not get an working image. If there is a rsync server it would fix the problem. Or jigdo files that are generated daily. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Debian Sarge/testing cdimages
hello, about the unofficial CD images from Sarge/testing on ftp://ftp.fsn.hu/pub/CDROM-Images/debian-unofficial/ they are bootable, but the installation is not correct. CD1 contains an old or other installation than the latest 02012004 (??) and CD2 is bootable with the 02012004 installation, however it is not working, while the direct from the internet-installation of 02012004 is working. I think the problem is the Packages(.gz) file in dists/sarge/main/debian-installer/binary-i386 of something with the modules (?) How could I fix this myself and/or could it be fixed in the next version of the cdimages ? Alfred p.s. I'm not on the list. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
