Bug#1063829: ITP: tftp-proxy -- proxy to redirect TFTP requests to HTTP
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Christoph Biedl X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-devel@lists.debian.org, debian.a...@manchmal.in-ulm.de * Package name: tftp-proxy Version : 1.0.0 Upstream Contact: Arnoud Vermeer * URL : https://github.com/openfibernet/tftp-proxy * License : Apache-2.0 Programming Lang: Go Description : A TFTP server that proxies request to an HTTP backend if a file is not found. This program is basically a minimalistic TFTP server. As an extra however, it will forward request that cannot be served to a configurable HTTP backend. . This is useful in a network where the actual TFTP server is relatively far away: Due to the simple design of TFTP, already 40ms of latency result in a very poor performance, tftp-proxy can shortcut that to network speed. . Additionally, the requests may be directed to a caching HTTP server. signature.asc Description: PGP signature

I also have 3 other bugs already fixed, but preventing migration to testing for more than 8 days. What' wrong with BTS since a few days? Is there a bug, or the procedure to fix bugs changed? Other bugs preventing migration according to https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/lazarus: Updating lazarus would introduce bugs in testing: #1060932, #1060995, #1061009 -- Cheers, Abou Al Montacir signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part
Re: Resuming snapshot.debian.org for Debian Ports
Hi, Quoting John Paul Adrian Glaubitz (2024-02-13 00:33:03) > (Please CC me in replies as I'm not subscribed to debian-devel) then maybe you have missed the last time this topic came up: https://lists.debian.org/169097599149.3513878.11315997455981479167@localhost > does anyone know whether there are any plans to resume snapshot.debian.org > for Debian Ports? I'd also like snapshot.debian.org to resume normal operations for Debian proper. As of today, there should be 48 snapshots for February but there are only 9. I see this issue regularly via failure mails from my metasnap.d.n service cron job. This is making software like debbisect less reliable than they could be. My hope is, that whatever changes are needed for ports will also fix the rest? > The service has been unavailable for some months and the lack of snapshots > means that it becomes more difficult to fix the buildd queue once it has > become stuck due to Mini-DAK as used by Debian Ports not supporting cruft > [1]. And when you say "some months" it has actually been half a year without a snapshot for ports: http://snapshot.debian.org/archive/debian-ports/ This is a truly sad situation. Thanks for bringing this up (again)! cheers, josch signature.asc Description: signature

This will be kind of a weird package -- the source is lxc-ci, which contains all the bits and pieces to run the Linux Containers Project's Jenkins server. However, Debian will only be interested in the image yaml files for use with the distrobuilder package, so the produced binary package is distrobuilder-images. It will be team-maintained with the pkg-lxc team. signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part
Resuming snapshot.debian.org for Debian Ports
(Please CC me in replies as I'm not subscribed to debian-devel) Hello, does anyone know whether there are any plans to resume snapshot.debian.org for Debian Ports? The service has been unavailable for some months and the lack of snapshots means that it becomes more difficult to fix the buildd queue once it has become stuck due to Mini-DAK as used by Debian Ports not supporting cruft [1].
