I noticed that some but not all of the new packages
that get uploaded to the Incoming directory don't have
read permissions. Is there a reason for this? Are they
uploaded that way? I like to install the latest and
greatest as quick as possible. I know, that could be asking
for trouble but that's me. I am particularily interested
in the dmalloc package that just came out but couldn't
get it for the past couple of days. If there is a reason
why it is like that then no problem. I was jsut curious
why only part of the packages were uploaded that way.
The packages that come via my system are uploaded using rcp rather
than anon-ftp, and so have more standard default permissions.
