I wouldn't mind taking lilo, package does not look too complex (other than that I will need to make sure I have a few good boot floppies in case a version fails to work properly when I test it...) Re: seeking new maintainer: lilo
I do not feel confident enough to take upon lilo, I just wanted to say that I was working (sorry Enrique for not being able to finish it for slink) in a LILO installation to be included in boot-floppies and work also standalone, if anyone is working in it feel free to contact me so we could finish it sooner. However, if nobody stands up to take it, I will. Javi On Sat, Jan 30, 1999 at 12:35:31AM +0100, Bernd Eckenfels wrote: Hello, who would liek to take the lilo package over? I am not registerred as a developer. If that is an immediate show-stopper, then so be it. I want to be a developer, but I haven't yet crossed the i's and dotted the t's. Since I have no experience with maintaining a package, would lilo be a good one to start with? I know that if I blow it, I might seriously hose many other people's machines, but I don't expect that to happen. (The -first- machine I would hose would be my own, so...)
