Havig read the bug report, I do think that this was in error. This bug
is not about lacking/non-working IPv6 support.

The problem (for those people that see this bug as such ;)) rather
lies in the resolver trying to appending the values of the resolv.conf
search setting after failed  lookup before trying an A lookup than
in doing the  lookup.
