Hi, if it's any help "Amarok" does work for me in Unstable, but it as
several dependencies in Unstable so you may have to pull many packages.
Otherwise I find "Clementine" a good replacement, and since Amarok port
to QT5 looks very slow at best it might be a good idea to consider
alternate solutions anyway.

Hope it helps.

Bug#848628: korganizer: Multiple event categories

2017-10-22 Thread MH
Package: korganizer
Version: 4:16.04.3-4
Followup-For: Bug #848628

Dear Maintainer,

After assigning an existing category tag to a new event, KOrganizer creates
multiple copies
of that category in subsequent categories list. Sometimes it creates only one,
sometimes
more than one. The duplicates have to be repeatedly deleted to keep the
categories list sane.

Bug#869151: Confirmed

2017-10-22 Thread Innocent De Marchi
Hi,

It seems to me that there is a problem of incongruous dependencies.
Kolourpaint depends on libkf5kdelibs4support5, this kio but kio no
It depends on kinit. But kinit depends on kio. This way, when
installing kolourpaint, kinit is not installed.
I think it will be necessary to communicate this to those responsible
for the Qt/KDE packages

Regards!

I. De Marchi

The problem is solved by installing the kinit package.
Dear Maintainer, consider add kinit dependency on the package.

Re: Plasma 5.10 in Testing?

2017-10-22 Thread Luc Castermans

Dear

Today I got rid of the glitches in the screen by selecting
Xrender as Compositor (Systemsettings -> Screen and Monitor) instead of OpenGL
x.

Does that give a clue to what is wrong?

thx

Luc

Hi,
I see those sometimes, starting few minutes after resume.
It's fixable by `kquitapp plasmashell` & run it again from krunner.

I don't know when it started, i have to candidates:
1) after upgrading to Plasma 5.10
2) after enabling GPU accel in firefox

My GPU is
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics
Controller (rev 0b)

BTW: is it safe to upgrade to latest MESA, pulling in libegl1? Last time i
tried, it broke GPU acceleration and also video acceleration. There are still
some bug reports opened againts MESA.

Dear,

On " ...experiencing graphic glitches in Testing"since a while I see
irregular glitches on my screen indeed. I already suspected by GPU or
graphic driver, but is it a KDE component?

Hi!

Can someone give us some update about the migration of Plasma 5.10 in
TestingIt started about a month ago but there are components still blocked
in Sid,such as kwin [1] and plasma-workspace [2].

Thank you!

PS: Anyone experiencing graphic glitches in Testing since this
migrationstarted? I have to restart X at least once a day and it is
becoming annoying.
