Oh, and the patch comes from Pino.

Michael, here is one thing you could **really** help us with:

It's from Thiago MAciera, qtbase's maintainer. The text says:

"Can I ask for a screenshot of a KDE or Qt-based application running on Alpha
as proof that someone is actually using this?"

Can you provide us that? That will definitely help us a lot.

Filed a bug ( https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=465107 ) in case if someone
wants to follow it.

My solution was to replace the Application Launcher widget with the Application
Menu, where the icon still has a resonable size.

Regards,

As a workaround, you could change the icon to something else.

I really don't like the monochrome look everything seems to have these
days. :-(

There is already a patch upstream at:
https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt/qtbase/+/437349

I have taken that and refreshed against Debian 6.4.2+dfsg-1 and
attach here.

With that qt6-base 6.4.2+dfsg-1 builds to completion on Alpha.

Regards,
Michael.

It may depend whether control panel is horizontal or vertical. I believe
vertical ones to be affected.

I'm on 5.26.90 and mine looks normal. Have you tried creating a new user
account to see if it works properly?

Strange, we've not seem that elsewhere (yet ?).

Can you confirm that you have no more plasma packages installed with the old
version ? (5.26.5)

Also if you have time you may search the KDE bugtracker for issues raised
against version 5.26.90 and report if you find something similar.

Bug#1030211: qt6-charts-dev should depend on qml6-module-qtcharts?

2023-02-01 Thread Fab Stz
Package: qt6-charts-dev
Version: 6.4.2-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I was trying to configure a project which Build-Depends on qt6-charts-dev
At build time I have the error below.

If I install also qml6-module-qtcharts, then configure is made successfully.

Should this be added as a dependency in qt6-charts-dev?

Error:
