Bug#1061719: libqt6gui6:amd64: QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb doesn't seem to work

I was advised to use xcb, but it does not have any effect. Quite possible that my QT installation is somehow messed up (I use it only for compiling two QT programs). qtchooser reports 7 versions: 4 5 default qt4-x86_64-linux-gnu qt4 qt5-x86_64-linux-gnu qt5. QTCreator reports 5.15.8 twice: /usr/lib/qt5/bin/qmake and /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/bin/qmake.
