Bug#613499: Some SATA disks don't show up on TS-419P+
Package: linux-2.6 Version: 2.6.32-29 Severity: important A Debian user reported on the QNAP forum that only 2 out of the 4 disks show up onthe TS-419P+: http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=147t=38850#p178733 This is because there's another SATA chip on PCIE1 and PCIE1 is not initialized on this platform. This is fixed in http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/nico/orion.git;a=commitdiff;h=31481adbabd1a6d66af40f1508531af3bed6f2c3 which I'm about to commit. -- Martin Michlmayr http://www.cyrius.com/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kernel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. I, too, have this problem, but with standard unencrypted connections. At least on my home network, WPA2-PSK does not give the same result. This is using ipw2100 on a newly-installed squeeze on a Thinkpad X31 using cnetworkmanager to connect. pgptLsDr4Woen.pgp Description: PGP signature
Bug#613531: linux-2.6: Please include commit 834e2312e7a384877a876b0d34dffc3046c96bcb for USB SuperSpeed support usbfs devices file
Source: linux-2.6 Version: 2.6.32-30 Severity: wishlist Hi, The devices file in usbfs reports Spd=?? for USB SuperSpeed buses; this was fixed in 2.6.37 with commit 834e2312e7a384877a876b0d34dffc3046c96bcb by printing out the correct speed (5000). The question marks actually break some badly-written software; the fix is available and straightforward. The attached patch is ready to use with the current 2.6.32 kernel; the original commit also added the correct speed for USB_SPEED_WIRELESS, I removed it as it's not supported in 2.6.32. Bug#599375: freezes randomly using xserver-xorg-video-intel on Intel 82845G/GL graphics chipset
Subject: Re: freezes randomly using xserver-xorg-video-intel on Intel 82845G/GL graphics chipset Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel Version: 2:2.13.0-5 Severity: normal *** Please type your report below this line *** After upgrading to Squeeze this bug just affected me. With xserver-xorg-video-intel installed, I got X up and running (LXDE) until I started the Monitor Settings Thingy, which lead to an X lockup. Switching to Console still worked for me. I found: [drm:i915_do_wait_request] *ERROR* i915_do_wait_request returns -5 in dmesg. When I remove xserver-xorg-video-intel, the system just locks up, no ping, no nothing. -fbdev is installed. However it seems, that with the backports kernel: 2.6.32-bpo.5-686 and xserver-xorg-video-intel installed, I get no lockups.
