Bug#870070: Debian 9.1 stretch: LibreOffice Writer crashes at startup

2017-07-29 Thread benoit-petit-1
Hi everybody

I have encountered the same concern on 32bit stretch and this one is solved by
an uninstall and a new installation via synapic.

I noticed, somewhat by chance, that it is the freeoffice-gtk3 package that is
problematic.

Installed, writer does not launch, but uninstalled, with synaptic or command
line, writer launches.
It's up to you to play.

Best regards

Benoît

Bug#870071: linux-image-4.9.0-3-arm64: Kconfig option for console on frame buffer device is missing

2017-07-29 Thread Ard Biesheuvel
Package: src:linux
Version: 4.9.30-2+deb9u2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Please enable CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE (preferably as a builtin) in the
arm64's kernel image configuration so that systems with a graphics card
installed can get a console on the frame buffer rather than only via serial.

Common header files for Linux 4.11.0-2 missing

2017-07-29 Thread norbert.br...@oracle.com

Hi there,

since a couple of days the package linux-headers-4.11.0-2-amd64-4.11.11-1+b1
is available on download servers, but *linux-headers-4.11.0-2-common
package is missing.*

Is there any good reason for it?

Kindest Regards,
Norbert

I think its best to use snapshot.debian.org for that

What am I missing in my sources.list?

Hi Aaron,

Yes, with the kernel updates 4.9.0-2-686-pae to disappeared.

I downloaded a 3.16 or 3.2 kernel on FTP and installed the package with
dpkg. Today, I do not have this PC on hand.
