Bug#815037: problem still present in Stretch and stretch-backports?

2018-04-30 Thread Toni Mueller

Hi,

I am seeing this problem with

linux-image-4.15.0-0.bpo.2-amd64 4.15.11-1~bpo9+1 amd64 and firmware-iwlwifi
20170823-1~bpo9+1, and with their counterparts from Stable on my
XPS 13 from around 2013.

FWIW, on some networks, I have no trouble connecting, but on others, it just
won't work at all. I've tried this backport version after losing
connectivity with the stable package.

Bug#897255: linux-image-4.15.0-3-amd64 - BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000258

2018-04-30 Thread klak
Package:linux-image-4.15.0-3-amd64
Version:4.15.17-1

Dear Maintainer,

after shutdown of my four VMs for backup, the start of the second VM with
PCIE-Passthru (Digital Devices GmbH Octopus DVB Adapter) with
virsh start command hangs. Reboot hangs too and only a hard reset or
helps.

Greets klak

Bug#896775: Acknowledgement ([PATCH] Backport support for Qualcomm Centriq onboard emac NIC)

2018-04-30 Thread Steve McIntyre
I've also added a backport for the one erratum that's known about for
Falkor v2 CPUs (E1041). Other Qualcomm errata code is in upstream, but
the other snippets are for v1 which is not widely available so
probably not worth backporting.

I've added an MR on salsa for both of these, at

  https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/linux/merge_requests/8

Please shout if you need me to do anything more.
