Follow-up Comment #2, bug #34331 (project gnewsense): Since the project page you sent a link to mentions that one of its goals is to upstream the stable patches, I guess both this bug and the Debian bug can be closed. I just wonder why the upstream process is taking so long... I was under the impression all yeeloong specific patches were targeted to be merged in .38 and .39, so Debian should already have them in testing.
