enable CONFIG_X86_MCE in kernel-image linux-image-2.6.26-2-xen-amd64
Hi, I would be very pleased if you could enable the kernel parameters CONFIG_X86_MCE=y CONFIG_X86_MCE_INTEL=y CONFIG_X86_MCE_AMD=y in the debian kernel image linux-image-2.6.26-2-xen-amd64? If this parameters are enabled it would be possible for us to monitor hardware errors via mcelog on our Dom0 Xen machines. We generally do not make such changes in a stable release. If this parameters are enabled it would be possible for us to monitor hardware errors via mcelog on our Dom0 Xen machines. Do you know that this will work? Won't the Xen hypervisor handle MCEs?
