Hi, the current translation of 'Removing package-name...' is
translated wrong, someone made a typing mistake.
Instead of 'package-name wordt verwijderdt...' it should be
'package-name wordt verwijderd...'. Tiny difference, but it stands
^ out.
I corrected this in my archive for both branches.
Very good, thanks.
Dutch Team, please yell if this is *not* OK. You can remain silent if
this is OK.
It is OK. In fact, this is not just a 'tiny' typing error; the error is
what we call a 'dt fout' in Dutch ('dt error'), and is a spelling
mistake often made by Dutch writers, but which comes across as very
unprofessional. The problem is similar to the English spelling issue
with it's versus its.
For this reason, I would like to urge the dpkg development team to
please make this change before the Sarge release, if they are not
already planning to do so. Failure to do this will very likely result in
Debian being ridiculed by Dutch-languaged press for making such a silly
mistake in such a central piece of it's infrastructure.
