That would still make them appear on lintian.debian.org and hence on
DDPO.

The number of wrongly labeled NMUs should be next to zero anyway, so
the usefulness of these tags is limited, I'd think.

Hi Christoph,

A lot of the PostgreSQL packages have:

  1 # don't bug people uploading from @work
  2 source: changelog-should-mention-nmu
  3 source: source-nmu-has-incorrect-version-number

.. in their Lintian overrides. I understand the motivation and don't
wish to open the debate yet again (!), but have you considered just
ignoring these locally in your lintianrc?

That would mean that nobody else would accidentally not see these tags
and, of course, would reduce the number of overrides.
