Includes the original source. https://people.debian.org/~bam/wheezy/xen/i386/ There is also amd64 version available (without the orig source because the i386 version is identical) at: https://people.debian.org/~bam/wheezy/xen/amd64/ -- Brian May

Re: Supporting armel/armhf in wheezy-lts
Hey guys, Might be a longshot, but you could contact the Scaleway team (scaleway.com). They provide physical arm servers with (among others) Wheezy images, as well as Jessie and Sid images. I couldn't find a direct contact email, but they do have a ticketing system on their website. (or maybe someone here knows someone there?) Has that been coordinated with FTP masters? I haven't heard anything about it so far. Cheers, Moritz

Ok, I was planning to send an update over the weekend. I think the LTS team should send their own announcement soon and we can then point to that for those who are interested in continuing to use Wheezy. Cheers, Moritz
Announcing Wheezy LTS via debian-security-announce
Hi security team, only one week to go and I thought it would be a good idea to draft an announcement for next Tuesday that should be send to debian-security-announce and debian-lts-announce. I suggest that we coordinate the content of the last / first security announcement for Wheezy / Wheezy LTS. Please find below my proposal with some ideas from [1]. [draft] Security support for Wheezy handed over to the LTS team === As of today the standard security support for Wheezy came to an end, one year after the release of Debian 8.0 alias "Jessie" and nearly three years after the release of Debian 7.0 alias "Wheezy". The Debian Long Term Support Team (LTS) will take over security support now. Information for users = Wheezy LTS will be supported from 26th of April 2016 to the 31st of May 2018. For Debian 7 "Wheezy" LTS there will be no requirement to add a separate wheezy-lts suite to your sources.list any more and your current setup will continue to work without further changes. For how to use Debian Long Term Support please read https://wiki.debian.org/LTS/Using Important information and changes regarding Wheezy LTS can be found at https://wiki.debian.org/LTS/Wheezy Most notably OpenJDK 7 will be made the new Java default JRE/JDK on the 26th of June 2016 to ensure full security support until Wheezy LTS reaches its end-of-life. You should also subscribe to the announcement mailing list for security updates for Wheezy LTS: https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/ A few packages are not covered by the Wheezy LTS support. These can be detected by installing the debian-security-support package. If debian-security-support detects an unsupported package which is critical to you, please get in touch with debian-lts@lists.debian.org. Mailing lists = The whole coordination of the Debian LTS effort is handled through the debian-lts mailing list: https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts/ Please subscribe or follow us via GMANE (gmane.linux.debian.devel.lts) Aside from the debian-lts-announce list, there is also a list for following all uploads in Wheezy LTS: https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-changes/ Security Tracker All information on the status of vulnerabilities (e.g. if the version in Wheezy LTS happens to be unaffected while Jessie is affected) will be tracked in the Debian Security Tracker: http://security-tracker.debian.org If you happen to spot an error in the data, please see https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/data/report [1] https://lists.debian.org/debian-security-announce/2014/msg00119.html signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
Re: Who is attending DebConf?
Hi, On Fri, 08 Apr 2016, Raphael Hertzog wrote: > Does someone want to present Debian LTS? I can share my slides from last > year and update the figures at the very least. The Debian LTS project, despite » its public reliance on sponsorship, and the fact that it is paying Debian » contributors, has been well accepted in the Debian community. It will be similar to last year but I have put the focus on the fact that we have paid contributors because I want the talk to serve as an introduction to a BoF discussing how to use Debian Money to Fund Debian Projects (that I want to organize with Mehdi). And I also have a talk to present Kali Linux. So I would really love if another LTS team member would be willing to do this presentation together with me... helping to update the slides and talk behind the microphone a little bit.
