sorry: when I started to worry about not receiving an answer

Bug#679439: lightspeed

2013-04-10 Thread Boris Pek
Hi Adrian,

Thanks again for your interest.

 do you need a sponsor for lightspeed?

Yes, I need a sponsor for this package, see my RFS (#679439).

I thought we already discussed it (I recall your email about package qpxtool).

Short story:
I prepared a number of QA uploads before Wheezy freeze, not all of them were
sponsored on time and now they have usertag not-fit-for-wheezy. As you can
read at [1] it makes no sense to upload these packages into experimental, so
they are waiting until Wheezy is released. There are three package in this
suspended state: qpxtool [2], lightspeed [3], awffull [4].

It would be nice if you could upload these packages after Wheezy release.
Please write about your intention in related RFS bug reports in this case.

[1] https://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2012/07/msg00680.html
[2] http://bugs.debian.org/679049
[3] http://bugs.debian.org/679439
[4] http://bugs.debian.org/679578

 I'm a physicist, so I'd be glad to sponsor this!

Cool, I am physicist too. =)

 PS: Why is the diff changing files outside the debian directory?

This should be a question for original maintainer of this package... =)

I do not remember exactly (it was in June), but I suppose that I made enough
changes in the package, and switching from format 1.0 to 3.0 (quilt) had
required too much time so I decided to postpone such changes for future updates.

Best regards,
Boris

Bug#705185: RFS: dwb/20130409hg-1

2013-04-10 Thread Nathan Owens

Package: sponsorship-requests
  Severity: normal

  Dear mentors,

  I am looking for a sponsor for my package dwb

 * Package name: dwb
   Version : 20130409hg-1
   Upstream Author : Nathan Owensndowens @ gmx.us
 * URL : http://portix.bitbucket.org/dwb/
 * License : GPL
   Section : web

 It builds those binary packages:

dwb   - lightweight webkit browser

  To access further information about this package, please visit the following
URL:

  http://mentors.debian.net/package/dwb

  Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

dget -x
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/d/dwb/dwb_20130409hg-1.dsc

I am the maintainer of dwb, I have updated it to a newer version. It was
previously sponsored, though I don't remember who, but was wondering if
this version could be uploaded. I understand that testing is froze and
am requesting it to be included in sid/unstable, naturally.

Thanks
