I get the impression there are quite a few commonly used bits of the scala tool chain that aren't in Debian. The little experience I have is with latexdraw. It uses scalac and then maven (which is calling javac and then jar) to make the relevant jar. https://sources.debian.net/src/latexdraw/sid/debian/rules I'm guessing you don't want to go anywhere near maven and will need to do that step yourself too. (or alternatively, package sbt?! ;) hope that helps! cheers Stuart -- Stuart Prescotthttp://www.nanonanonano.net/ stu...@nanonanonano.net Debian Developer http://www.debian.org/ stu...@debian.org GPG fingerprint90E2 D2C1 AD14 6A1B 7EBB 891D BBC1 7EBB 1396 F2F7
How to build scala source
Hi, I intend to package pilon[1] which is written in scala. The build result is a JAR file and the upstream build script is basically using sbt $* one-jar Since Debian has no /usr/bin/sbt I wonder if somebody can give a hint how to build this code. Kind regards Andreas. [1] https://github.com/broadinstitute/pilon/wiki -- http://fam-tille.de
Bug#855941: RFS: scala-pickling/0.10.1-1 ITP: scala-pickling -- Fast, customizable, boilerplate-free pickling support for Scala
Package: sponsorship-requests Severity: normal Dear mentors, I am looking for a sponsor for my package "scala-pickling" Package name: scala-pickling Version : 0.10.1-1 Upstream Author : École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne URL : https://github.com/scala/pickling License : BSD-3-clause Section : java It builds those binary packages: libscala-pickling-java - Fast, customizable, boilerplate-free pickling support for Scala To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL: https://mentors.debian.net/package/scala-pickling Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command: dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/s/scala-pickling/scala-pickling_0.10.1-1.dsc More information about scala-pickling can be obtained from : https://github.com/scala/pickling Note: I'm looking for a sponsor to push this package in experimental first as it would be part of a much bigger effort to bring sbt into Debian. This package is the 1st one of a set of ~10 packages that intend to provide the minimum runtime dependencies for sbt. I described more my bootstrapping approach in bug #639910. I guess it should bring questions and maybe they should be added to #639910. Not sure I'm on the good path, but I'm willing to help and start with something concrete. Bug#855537: ITP: aiohttp-cors -- Cross Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) support for aiohttp
Hi Brandon, > https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/a/aiohttp-cors/aiohttp-cors_0.5.0-1.dsc even though upstream claims this module works with Python 3.4.1, it requires at least Python 3.5 (due to "typing" module which is not present in 3.4) so please bump X-Python3-Version to >= 3.5 and ping me¹. PS there's DPMT in (commented out) Vcs-* fields - let me know if you read our police and want to join the team PPS I'm interested in homeassistant so feel free to send me RFS email¹ for any package related to this project [¹] https://people.debian.org/~piotr/sponsor
