Bug#906005: RFS: libmarpa/6.1.0~dfsg-1.1 [NMU]

2018-08-12 Thread Boyuan Yang
Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-CC: j...@debian.org aure...@debian.org

Dear Jonas and mentors,

I prepared an NMU for package libmarpa to solve bug #870603 (multiarch-support
removal). As a result, I am looking for a sponsor to help to upload this
package into experimental. Since Jonas is listed in the lowNMU list and that
the change is trival, I'm not asking for an upload into the DELAYED queue.

Jonas, looks like you haven't worked on this package since 2014. It might be
better to review this package again recently since keeping a package in
experimental for a long time is generally not a good idea.

Whoops, managed to forget the DELAYED part -- uploaded Boyuan's NMU directly.
Apologies if there's anything wrong with it.

Do you know dpkg-mergechangelogs? I think fixing common problems in the
experimental branch and periodically merging it into the unstable branch
would work out fairly well with its help. Of course you'd still have to
fix up the version number after the merge.
