Hello Joerg!thanks for the update!
some nitpicks I would like to see fixed before having another deeper
look:debian/libsane1.NEWSis it still needed?
sane-backends-1.0.27/debian/libsane.dirssane-backends-1.0.27/debian/libsane.symbolssane-backends-1.0.27/debian/libsane.install
last little thing:
I don't want to start another flamerwar such as the one in #908681, I hope this
time nobody will complain... :/
btw you can see the build with the changes I requested
herehttp://debomatic-amd64.debian.net/distribution#experimental/sane-backends/1.0.27-4~experimental1/buildlog
(mostly, delete old libsane.* files, and remove the NEWS file)
feel free to grab the dsc once the build is over, and then fix if you see other
lintian complains.
thanks!

Hi!
These two files have disappeared:
-rwxr-xr-x root/root
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/shotwell/shotwell-settings-migrator
-rwxr-xr-x root/root
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/shotwell/shotwell-video-thumbnailer
yet there's no hint for me whether this is intentional.

I have no clue about this package's inner workings, but neither yours nor
upstream changelogs mention this change. As these tools are not within a
public namespace, it's possible that all is ok... but it's safer to me to
check with you.
