Bug#942250: RFS

2019-10-12 Thread Antonio Russo
Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: wishlist
X-Debbugs-CC: debian-multime...@lists.debian.org

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for an extension to Inkscape, TeX Text [1],
that allows the insertion of LaTeX code into an Inkscape document, and
the subsequent editing of it at later times. Please see my ITP [2],
mentors upload [3,4], and salsa packaging [5].

There are a couple outstanding issues, most importantly I don't understand
how Inkscape is getting dh_python3 to py3compile its extensions (and not
mine). I'd appreciate any help on that end, too.

Thank you,
Antonio Russo

The actual changelog diff is:

-scons-doc (3.1.0+repack-1) unstable; urgency=medium
+scons-doc (3.1.1+repack-1) unstable; urgency=medium

   * New upstream release.
 - Rewrite Files-Excluded.
   * Migrate to debhelper 12:
 - Change debian/compat to 12.
 - Bump minimum debhelper version in debian/control to >= 12.
- * Declare compliance with Debian Policy 4.4.0. (No changes needed).
+ * Declare compliance with Debian Policy 4.4.1 (No changes needed).
   * debian/copyright: Add year 2019.

which has those "-" lines it shouldn't have. The proper way is a contiguous
set of "+" in one piece at the start of the file. In other words, please
don't delete changelog entries that were already in the archive.

Otherwise, looks good.

I hate hate hate your upstream's autogenerated timestamps, linestamps,
versionstamps, hashstamps, codenamestamps all around the source -- but
that's upstream's fault not yours.

Hello Nico,

thanks for your work on this monster-package.
I will try to review it in the next few days.

In https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=942192
is hinted that it is done.
