Bug#976885: RFS: sayonara/1.6.0~beta6-1 [ITP] -- Small and lightweight music player

2020-12-08 Thread SteveM
Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: wishlist

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "sayonara":

Sayonara is a small, clear and fast audio player for Linux written in C++ and
supported by the Qt framework.

 * Package name : sayonara
   Version   : 1.6.0~beta6-1
   Upstream Author : Michael Lugmair
 * URL: https://sayonara-player.com
 * License  : GPLv3
 * Vcs :
https://gitlab.com/luciocarreras/sayonara-player/
   Section   : sound

It builds those binary packages:
  sayonara - Launches the GUI player
  sayonara-ctl- CLI, Sends commands to the GUI (eg. play, pause)
  sayonara-query - CLI, Get information about the music being played (eg.
artist, album)

To access further information about this package, please visit the following
URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/sayonara/

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x
https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/s/sayonara/sayonara_1.6.0~beta6-1.dsc

Changes since the last upload:

* Initial release (Closes: #854408)

This package was [ITP] earlier in the year but did not complete (bug 950824). I
have the go ahead from Ko Ko Ye` to continue his work and have attempted to get
sponsorship from Boyuan Yang but have not heard back from him so I am assuming
that he is too busy and I need to find another person to sponsor sayonara.

Hello meskio,

It seems there is a typo in the server description, see below:

Ok. :) Turns out we could just solve with a binNMU because there was no
arch:all package, so I have arranged for that solution instead. :)
