pgpsigurlmangle in debian/watch

2021-03-14 Thread Hilmar Preuße

Hi,

this is rather a question regarding handling d/watch in general.

Upstream source is https://github.com/proftpd/proftpd/archive/v1.3.7.tar.gz
PGPG sig is
https://github.com/proftpd/proftpd/releases/download/v1.3.7/proftpd-1.3.7.tar.gz.asc

My attempt to implement signature check is

pgpsigurlmangle=s@archive@releases/download/v$1@;\
s/([^\/]+)\.tar\.gz/proftpd-$1\.tar\.gz/;\
s/$/.asc/ \

uscan -ddd tries to download from

https://github.com/proftpd/proftpd/releases/download/v/proftpd-v1.3.7a.tar.gz.asc

How to I refer to upstreams new version in pgpsigurlmangle ?

Thanks,
  Hilmar

For debian-mentors: I've already replied to a similar post:
https://alioth-lists.debian.net/pipermail/design-devel/2021-March/000343.html

I think for Akria specifically it makes most sense that we continue that
other conversation and leave debian-mentors out of it.

Seeking sponsorship/mentorship at the mentors list makes good sense,
just please note that I am _not_ subscribed there and cross-posting to
to multiple lists is confusing at best, so please post separately to
each list.

Kind regards,

 - Jonas

Hello Jonas,

How are you?

I am looking for a sponsor in order to maintain a package. Later improving my
status to Debian Maintainer would a good thing.

I’m interested in this application:
https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/akira

If you have other packages to propose me, I am open to discuss with you.

What do you think?

Have a nice evening!

Best regards,
Patrick
