If the ogg files are the primary form of modification it is okay in my opinion. You have to do a little research for that. I have not even checked if the files are still existing with the new version. The git repo that you have used to build the new version was actually not used by the former maintainer who got the pkg into Debian. The version in the archive is completely different. The git repo should be rebuilt using gbp import-dscs --debsnap. I can do that for you if you do not know how to. The archive also holds a seemingly complete copyright file, which your version lacks. Also, please separate your debian/ changes from the upstream changes. That is what master and upstream branches are for.

Dear Nelson, Il 30/06/22 07:03, Nilson Silva ha scritto: Hi! Looking at the ITP and setup.cfg, I would have expected python3-resampy (which is in NEW) to show up in the Build-Depends. How come that it is not there? I have the package ready in the most current version (0.3.0-1) ! https://salsa.debian.org/nilsonfsilva/resampy However, there is already a bug with no movement in version (0.2.2-1) since 2020. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=968469 In that case how to do? resampy is already in the NEW queue and it will be hopefully available in few days. You just need to add it to your list of dependencies. P.S.: I will update the resampy package to the latest upstream version as soon as possible. regards -- Antonio Valentino
