Bug#1018255: Choosing new fork

2022-10-24 Thread Ben Westover
Letting this simmer for about a week, I have decided to focus my efforts
to packaging the new Prism Launcher fork instead of PolyMC, because it
seems PolyMC is now a lost cause and the "real" upstream has moved on to
Prism Launcher.

Thanks,

Bug#1022568: RFS: ipmiutil/3.1.8-3 -- IPMI management utilities

2022-10-24 Thread Jörg Frings-Fürst
Hello Adam,

thanks for your review.

Since the patch is only about suppressing the cron emails, I now use
/dev/null.

It's uploaded into git and to mentors.

Could you please pick a location that's not writeable by any unprivileged
user?

While dropping a symlink there is less fun if fs.protected_symlinks is 1
(it is by default on Debian), that setting might be for some reason off
-- and even if it's on, merely disabling monitoring is still a vuln.
