NM AM FD DAM BOF at Debconf9

2009-07-24 Thread Enrico Zini
Hello,

I have scheduled a BOF about current daily experience with the NM
process for the 26th of July (in 2 days) at Debconf9.

The details are here:
  http://lists.debconf.org/lurker/message/20090724.135503.30517c3f.en.html

Current AMs, current and recent NM applicants, DDs who are interested in
becoming AMs, FD members and DAMs are all invited to participate.

If you are not at Debconf but you'd like to send a question to the
participants, a statement to communicate to other DDs, feedback about
your recent NM experience, a collection of AM tips that you have
accumulated over time or similar things, feel free to send them in the
list or in private to me and I'll relay them during the BOF.

The BOF will not be recorded or streamed, so that people can be free to
talk about practical issues without worries of being on a stage.

Ciao,

Enrico

I'll be in Nijmegen from 17 Aug to 3 September and at the Radboud
University from 17 Aug to 30 Aug.

Maybe not in the Eastern Netherlands but the Netherlands as a whole isn't
that large and there are quite some DD's spread around the country. If you
perhaps pass through Utrecht we can do a quick meetup there.

cheers,
Thijs

Matthijs Kooijman has been a member of the Vuurmuur development
community for quite some time now. In that period he has participated in
development and user support of the project, and both were done well. In
the development he has been able to produce good code, including fixes
to the Debian packaging support. Matthijs has shown to deal with
feedback of other developers very well. Support, mostly done in IRC, was
done with patience. Matthijs is a valuable member of the Vuurmuur team
and I strongly recommend him for any project.

Best regards,

Victor Julien
