Hi,

I believe that Tianon has the technical skills needed to maintain Debian
packages. I support his application to become a Debian maintainer,
because of the work he has been doing within the pkg-go team over the
last half a year. Reviewing his contributions by now is typically a very
quick thing, since he gets it right without my advice :).

Furthermore, Tianon is always very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. I
think he’ll fit in well in Debian.

This is my declaration of intent to become a Debian Maintainer

I have read the Social Contract, Debian Free Software Guidelines and
Debian Machine Usage Policy and agree with all of them.

Currently, I maintain the packages cgroupfs-mount, docker, docker.io,
golang-context, golang-dbus, golang-go-systemd, golang-mux, golang-pty,
hy, python-astor, python-docker, and python-sh.

My GnuPG key 0xBF357DD4 is signed by the Debian Developer Paul
Tagliamonte, and should be signed by at least a few others during the
Keysigning Party at DebConf this week.

I look forward to becoming a Debian Maintainer. Thanks for your
attention.
