François Mazen: Advocate
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA512 For nm.debian.org, at 2023-06-03: I support François Mazen 's request to become a Debian Developer, uploading. I have worked with François Mazen on ceres-solver for 1 year and I consider them as having sufficient technical competence. I could work with François on a library transition for ceres-solver and they were able to do the necessary work to complete it. I have also reviewed some of their work on this package (granted DM permissions as they were managing it well) and on other ones, which is of great quality. The interactions with François are smooth and friendly, I am convinced having them on board is great for the Debian project. I have personally worked with François Mazen (key 86A5ABD6FFDB0A0C7F5057D34797FA721C351C9E) for 1 year, and I know François Mazen can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now. -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- iQIzBAEBCgAdFiEEM8soQxPpC9J9y0UjYAMWptwndHYFAmR7OdwACgkQYAMWptwn dHae1BAAjhVBKXrPM0kCp1arKAal60Z/dH5jL0k8vC9R6bSyXFoIAofpnXuHgsH1 YQT5BkRYMY94ph54dupOuBG3I3dIh1QdTvrAhxd9zcQxXLm81RP4F7voI9IRvIxU tdJL1BUKygnZj8K+uNbfMZf/sTpVfbQy7rLZ6folPNl0Z1pFlHrVye03pr67f800 8OenqRhTMnrJaYhs9a5d195C9gZX4cQjU5ZghqsLqKcuPAnZGxhNPj8N6xv6IbBJ 4pF6uxRisu+VCpfGpKQT/6IYYr1/o0EYEgsD28wKl/1HASnJSjDz6wz+tdgeXVlc waNMXjgLkm3Sbh4em12dks51uOFXNa0z/FAZX/4ejGVhuvyQcycqV5ShL+tjVAaJ uLJHuy5dzvHuWckWBYlj6pYoMojoXd1VXRHc3DbE/XBG/qUlrUBYaYrER792zzQk +rtsox8W5TLt3QKm3/xO3wIpFZkPHLH37o0E1vRT6NTA1jjjDtsPzUIx4bPOLedF CBX+zm/mcE0RtBLPzUutlSvel0wxs1hDJx4SLaZ/0x04wt6r7okKhRMHEkvge9hP A9dmQ28onuJ56llduFCEcraJZ8umLBMgV4ZlC/25wwC7wAtkb+CvAGxv+H7M2ws0 VuQKAlLZetDY52sQYL9RrMhMyzmGR3igLih5Xpm18pab3DvKfcw= =md99 -END PGP SIGNATURE- Pierre Gruet (via nm.debian.org) For details and to comment, visit https://nm.debian.org/process/1189/ -- https://nm.debian.org/process/1189/

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA256 For nm.debian.org, at 2023-06-03: I support François Mazen 's request to become a Debian Developer, uploading. I have worked with François Mazen on gtg and freefem++ packages for 2 years and I consider them as having sufficient technical competence. I have worked with François Mazen 's on freefem++ and gtg and also reviewed some of their other packages in the science team, and have always been impressed with the quality of their work. Their packaging skills reflects good technical competence. They are also friendly to work with and are quick to respond to and incorporate any feedback that's given. I have no doubts that they should be a DD, and making them one would be an amazing addition to the project. I have personally worked with François Mazen (key 86A5ABD6FFDB0A0C7F5057D34797FA721C351C9E) since ~2 years, and I know François Mazen can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now. -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- iHUEARYIAB0WIQSglbZu4JAkvuai8HIqJ5BL1yQ+2gUCZHqfNAAKCRAqJ5BL1yQ+ 2ta9AQDqPetGapdW5dJGqRlq0sF+Qqq5RL6TnsBN5zx4169mWAEA3uI5R/2Xs12l 22DL55UbGR4oMGfs1xWnSvpMc7f0yAc= =B9K0 -END PGP SIGNATURE- Nilesh Patra (via nm.debian.org) For details and to comment, visit https://nm.debian.org/process/1189/ -- https://nm.debian.org/process/1189/

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA512 I hereby advocate François Mazen to become a Debian Maintainer. I've sponsored François' solfege across a couple of years now and I can say he has a clear understanding of the Debian policy. He keeps his package in really good shape, has good practices and keeps synced up with new policies updates quickly. I was glad to see that François contributes to improve the FLOSS ecosystem by forwarding upstream his patches on his own. I consider he is perfectly prepared to be Debian maintainer! -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- iQIzBAEBCgAdFiEEvQqKQ/VtTywBCMYlg8MHkAqShqAFAl8m+50ACgkQg8MHkAqS hqDwBQ/+OeTf62dWsLTcDkimAgAtCfyEERw57qURUGAU2coVV68mI8yPlDd9Uynm M+xn/L9uY4cZijA8xVGCIffuFQDjAaZxSzU5x1hMX7d3tHT76eotYud5GYbsNGvZ vJq8xoxBUJUybr83zkOj2oTyQ3vzKtJjpdXMRyk/ztB+boGskafcFZJf4amHFdYc R9TD8B+17JHeynfhekVlR0YmccDpyVfq7iDtMuo9CIhyhWCkBaXyJbgONGkMuSyz HJsIoYphavcT3sayYe7FWs3DAMZlactLtS3nW1GMGfxw/jgIiWNb7NBMnbOKtK7w DFMWXOxEXzO91FiTpZJ75pZx0XAs78BLVyKNI9gyQ1YtDvJrkxhdti9jL8rwN0aD MWKnJiuKbI/bo8SY/Q8DnzNr9fs1rj6/OQXDF5LHHxFPAtjRfs+0a+SvzXQqpHLz RH1PaM41vmwjEg9rsyEJTxw8efV9nP1k75rdjNUTE2ogxGguAOeComAFQfnqBQJb SPgE8759YyfUzjA1RoFeRfm1964gAeRBm0SZgyuSxIybyQpJlvunI96M+mVGq5Qe Be9eHxbEEEttc4otghX0UIyaGt6HHPTldBi6CLmLZZaC+uORIP2ynrocUm5mKLde yf11P+yqbuZm3+ZWKSiR8OFmuffjaOnN49qH8sT+wpbWdxRvfJo= =B39m -END PGP SIGNATURE- Ulises Vitulli (via nm.debian.org) For details and to comment, visit https://nm.debian.org/process/785/ -- https://nm.debian.org/process/785/
