We have worked together on Qbs package and he helped me to port it from qmake to cmake (which was a non-trivial task given complexity of the package) and made some other packaging improvements. Also he helps to maintain qtsystems, which is one of the semi-official addons for Qt 5. Finally, I would mention his work on qtmir, for example recently he fixed a build failure in that package which was preventing Qt 5 from migrating to testing. I have worked with Marius Gripsgard on Lomiri upstream and Lomiri packaging for Debian and also the package btop for 18 months and I consider them as having sufficient technical competence. For the past 18 months, I have worked with Marius Gripsgard on getting the Lomiri operating environment into Debian. Marius mainly worked on the upstream side providing Lomiri components that build and work on Debian unstable. He is a very skilled C++ and Qt/QML developer. As Lomiri is the operating environment in Ubuntu Touch (which Marius is a core developer of), Marius has excellent expertise on creating and maintaining DEB packages. Under my supervision he will now start translating this expertise to official Debian packaging.
