Is there any automatik mechanism to register the aplications? A web
page where one can input once email and see the status of once
apllication or even a plain list of recieved aplliactions?

They use a human beowulf cluster for that :)

 Seriously, it IS easy:

Its not difficult, but it takes time, a long time.

Go here, read, do. Done! Make sure your identity is clear and unmistakable.

 http://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/developers-reference/ch-new-maintainer.html#s-registering

Then the cluster will assimilate you (eventually...)

I applied over a month ago and still havent heard a bit of it, not
even a please wait mail. I asked some days ago what happend to my
application, maybe I get an answere to that.

Goswin

Agreed. And again, this is not personal, just Debian must retain control.
Any interested in being a part of this can simply apply for maintainer
  status.

 Lets not.

May I suggest that anyone can submit a proposal, but only actual Debian
developers can second a proposal, signed with a PGP or GnuPG that is
in our keyring. (Brock, this has nothing to do with you, but with Debian
having control over what Debian is doing).
