I don't have perms to add you to the team, but welcome!

Hi Charles, thanks for the information.

in the Debian Med team, we had concrete evidence last May that the

Sorry to not have a high-quality summary to propose, but you can have a look
at the following thread and do not hesitate to ask for more information on
our list if you would like.

http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/debian-med-packaging/2014-May/026728.html
http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/debian-med-packaging/2014-June/027063.html

I probably missed it, but from skimming these threads, it seemed like the
problem was more with git-buildpackage than with pristine-tar. If so, I
wonder if the same problems would affect git-dpm.

I search d-d on gmane and wasn't able to find Joey's specific message about
pristine-tar bitrot. pristine-tar does have a few bugs that could be
relevant. I'm not sure where that leaves us though.

Cheers,
-Barry

Ah sorry, it was a message from Henrique de Moraes Holschuh.

Thanks, Henrique's posting does make sense. :/
